A: Clay Communications Inc. is a locally owned and operated, full service, telecommunications interconnect. We install and maintain most business telephone and computer systems and associated peripheral devices. We also install and troubleshoot telephone and computer cable, including fiber optics and complete mainframe and data rack assemblies for almost any application, large or small. Q: Are you hiring right now? A: Please click on the employment link on the left for complete details. Q: Can you train me to be a P.B.X. technician? A: If you're trying to break into telecommunications for the first time, we would suggest looking in to some local telecommunication schools as they are far more prepared to provide you with proper training and job placement assistance. Q: What if my business telephone system is dead in the water right now? A: If you are one of our established customers and your business telephone system is currently down or critically disabled, please call (972) 245-8343 and follow the menu prompts. If you leave a detailed message (including your callback number) in our emergency service mailbox, one of our "on call" technicians will return your call as soon as possible, usually within five or ten minutes. This service is only available to all of our established customers who have a genuine telecommunications emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Q: What if my company is not an established Clay Communications customer? A: We would love to have your business but for the personal safety of our technical staff, our company policy prohibits us from providing emergency service to anyone other than our established customers. Please call us during our normal working hours to discuss your problem(s) and we will make every effort to dispatch a technician as soon as possible if necessary. Q: Do you do any residential work? A: Our company policy also prohibits us from serving any residential accounts but we may be able to refer you to some qualified contractors. Q: How do you contact us?
